SCMC members had a busy month in October, competing both here in the UK and internationally.
Caerwent in South Wales saw the father and daughter team of Damian & Charly Cole winning the Patriot Stages in their Skoda Fabia R5. This was an excellent result for Charly as she’s only recently taken up co-driving for her father.
Angelica had her annual visit back home to compete in La Carrera Panamericana. Swapping to a Porsche GT4 for this year’s event, they didn’t have the power of the Studebakers, but the goal was to be best of the rest and win the GT4 class. They more than achieved this with 3rd o/all and the outright win for the GT4 class.
Mention should also be made to the May & July COTM winner Declan Dear with two outright victories with Matthew Hirst on the Wyedean & Cambrian Intercub stages in October.
