Next Down the Pub – 11 August
Our next Down the Pub is being hosted by Norman Phillips on 11 August. He has chosen the Wellhouse Pub, Chipstead Lane, Coulsdon CR5 3SQ (https://thewellhouseinn.co.uk/). The Wellhouse is easily accessible being just off the A217 and just north of junction 8 of the M25.
The Wellhouse offers a variety of wines, gins and locally sourced real ales (as featured in The Good Beer Guide 2023) as well as an exclusive cocktail list. It has an extensive pub food menu and table booking are available until late. Its website proposes that visitors take in the stunning views from the pub’s large garden area nominated by Surrey Live as one of the best gardens in Surrey.
I know it is holiday time but it would great to catch up with some of our south London members.
