Just like the Toyota WRC team in Sweden, SCMC members took the top four positions on the Isle Of Wight Stages in mid-February. Rob Swann & Steve McNulty came out as winners with Isle Of Wight resident Will Nicholls 2nd with Nick Broom alongside. The Quigley’s put in another strong performance with 3rd and Darrell Taylor rounded off the top 4.
Other SCMC members who had good results on the the Isle Of Wight Stages were John Peck finishing an excellent 11th, Mark Fisher and Peter Spalding had some good luck for a change with 30th and Ryan Stutchbury just pipped the Garraway’s with 40th o/all. Unfortunately, Scott & Darren Stutchbury failed to finish.
Both Rob and Steve were out again on the closed road East Riding Stages but in different cars this time. Rob finished 10th o/all in his trusty Fiesta WRC whilst Steve stepped back into a MKII for the first time in a while and finished 48th o/all with Ben Hardy. Darrell Taylor was also in action and finished 25th o/all.
