Abingdon Motorsport CAR-nival held over the weekend of 26th & 27th September have received received wide-acclaim despite operating under strict Covid-19 protocols.
117 cars took the start on the unique 2-course sprint on the Saturday with Simon Wallis taking Fastest Time of the Day in his OMS3000.
Wallis commanded the event with fastest times recorded on both the Abingdon and Bentley Courses.
On the rally on the following day, 99 cars contested the 7 stage event with a fierce battle up front between Simon Mauger (Lotus Exige), Chris West (Porsche 977) and Mark Kelly (Fiesta R5). Mauger took the winning spoils by 17-seconds from Kelly and West just 1-second behind.
The Autosolo also ran a full entry, rounding off a very different CAR-nival from the fun and very social club motor sport event.
