June was a very busy month for Darrell, with events on 3 consecutive weekends. June started with a 2nd in the very competitive C18 class at our own Abingdon Carnival sprint and followed that up the day after by winning the Carnival stages outright with Steve McNulty co-driving. The following weekend saw a trip to Anglesey for the Menai Stages with 3rd o/all and a further trip north for the Argyll Stages the weekend after.
It was great to see so many members entered for both the sprint and rally over the Abingdon Carnival weekend. Results for all members can be seen on the Abingdon Carnival website https://abingdoncarnival.com/
Outside of Abingdon, Angelica Fuentes wheeled out Maurice the #minisprint for an outing at the Brooklands Museum Double 12 Auto Tests. An excellent morning saw Angelica lying 2nd o/all at lunchtime but a couple of test errors resulted in a 9 o/all finish at the end of the day.
