As well as competitive events the Club holds regular social events, usually on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
During the course of the year we host:
- Down the Pub Nights around the region allowing friends to join together at a pub, local to members at least once or twice a year.
- Our prestigious Annual Awards Dinner, usually in February where we honour the success of our competitors and organisers for the work over the previous year.
- Interesting Car Night at Guildford Tyres with a whole host of unusual and often exotic cars.
- Special ‘Zoom Nights’ featuring guest appearances from some of the leading figures in motor sport which has previously included Ari Vatanen, Fred Gallagher, Ben Cussons (Vice President of the RAC), Rob Collard, Rob Swann, Will Nicholls and even former MP / Co-Chairman of the APPC Motoring, James Sunderland.

NEXT SOCIAL EVENT…
is a ‘Down the Pub’ on 14 April 2026.
The event is being hosted by Scott Stutchbury. It is taking place at the Jovial Sailor pub, Portsmouth Road, Ripley, Surrey, GU23 6EZ. The pub is easily accessed from the A3 junction on the M25 being just the Guildford side of Ripley village. It proved extremely popular on our last visit with 30 plus members present. It has a very pleasant beer garden and outdoor pods so with good weather we will easily be accommodated.
The Jovial Sailor is part of the Barons Pub Group and offers and range of ales, wines and spirits. It has a comprehensive menu with tables bookable up to 8.30pm.
